I'ved tried to use them twice and while the character creation is very cool the game play, especially combat, is awful. It's a high minded storyteller system that doesn't work very well and doesn't fit an action adventure space western setting. Might make an of set of rules for a Star Trek type universe but for Serenity and Battlestar Galactica it doesn't work. You'll be much better off using some generic rules like Savage Worlds if you want to play games that have the feel of the show and movie.Ironworkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02027209775803438397noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8920789301828684803.post-9791680085360554422008-08-14T11:33:00.000-05:002008-08-14T11:33:00.000-05:00Me again:Quote from TMP:"Heresy: Captain Nathan (M...Me again:

Quote from TMP:
"Heresy: Captain Nathan (Mal)
Hasslefree: Grant (Jayne), Miranda (River)
Spyglass: Inga (Inara)
Copplestone: Urban Cowgirls (Yo-Saff-Bridge and Zoe), Band on the Run (Kaylee)
eM-4: Savages (Reavers)
Mongoose: Light Armor MI (Alliance Feds)
Eureka: Chinese Pirates (various pirates and civilians)
Artizan: Western minis (various characters and teams), WW2 US infantry in Greatcoats (Browncoats) "Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8920789301828684803.post-4267409756347232912008-08-14T11:22:00.000-05:002008-08-14T11:22:00.000-05:00Ah! I think a friend picked up the rpg book years ago and the stats are rolled with different dice depending on your proficiency? d4, d6, d8, etc?

I haven't wanted to necessarily play in the Serenity universe, but a party of the Serenity character archetypes could be fun. (40k rpg ruleset is about all I/we use in my group.)

JonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8920789301828684803.post-59184759159537583262008-08-13T21:06:00.000-05:002008-08-13T21:06:00.000-05:00There are no "Serenity" miniatures.
